- Provide safety and security around the parked aircraft, load and unload baggage, direct all arriving and departing aircraft to and away from the gate
- Operating a variety of machinery and equipment, including baggage loader belts, diesel pushback tractors and small baggage cart tugs
- Work days, nights and weekends
- Load and unload luggage to the plane's belly
- Initiated security checks throughout the airport
- Resolve issues with delayed, lost, or damaged items
- Unload customer luggage and air freight
- Work at airports on the ground and tarmac for individual airlines
- Loaded, unloaded and transported cargo weighing more than
75 Ibs. between terminals and aircraft
- Servicing incoming flights for Delta Airlines, Bag room, Cabin Service, Ramp Agent, and Tug Operator
- Utilize computer software to track and catalogue luggage to efficiently resolve problems and maintain customer relations when luggage is late, lost
- Ensure compliance with respective Airline Baggage Policies
- Provided in order to familiarize new employees with the airline's scheduling and baggage tracking systems
- Complying with company's expectations, rules and procedures
- Perform and complete security checks mandated by the client,
FAA and TSA
- Report all incidents and/or breaches using established communication channels
- Locate FOD (Foreign Objects Debris)
