  • Maintain and answer toll free line: skilled and committed to addressing inquiries from the public, law enforcement agencies and court staff such as issues as making payments, payment extensions, rescheduling initial appearances, release of driver’s license or vehicle registration holds, ect. with speed, accuracy and professionalism.
  • Data entry of new tickets: experienced in confirming the accuracy of entering all data elements from scanned images of new tickets accurately into the Violation Notice Tracking System (VNTS).
  • Data entry of payments: payment processing expertise, enter an abbreviated set of predetermined data elements accurately into the VNTS.
  • Process dockets from court: experienced in confirming the accuracy of entering judgements with corresponding disposition code, magistrate judge code, amendments and fine installment information for each ticket on the docket received from courts into VNTS.
  • Verification of pre-dockets: verify as to correctness to ensure information from each ticket on a docket has been data entered correctly including location code, violation number, Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) state statute, offense description, defendant name, address, social security number, drivers license, date of birth and other fields captured during data entry.
  • Ensured work is accomplished In a timely manner, meet and exceeds quality expectations. Work as a team player and willingly accept additional assignments, such as back-up to the CVB Info email, addressing Inquiries from the public. Help with logging in received dates on processed dockets from the court. Assist with court date logs and verify court dates written on new citations.
  • Responsible for handling the Eastern District of California CM/ECF (Case Management/Electronic Case Filing). CVB has interfaced it’s system with CM/ECF. All violations notices received by CVB are sent electronically to CM/EFC, and Disposition Docket data is sent back. Manage communication with Court staff, such as the CM/EFC Project Manager for Eastern District of California to resolve issues, occasionally, data does not transmit correctly and unprocessed data will prevent the Disposition Docket from being complete. Transmission error emails are monitored daily and corrected as soon as possible.
