Jubilee Whitmer

A motivated senior at Virginia Tech studying Biochemistry and looking to build more hands-on experience and expertise working in a diverse team-oriented laboratory setting. Striving to find effective ways to improve the quality of life for others' and the environment. Started freshman year communicating with peers, using past assignments and projects, and conducting research to help better understand challenging scientific literatures through Orion (Science Living and Learning Community). Completed over 200 hours of time constrained laboratory courses. Proficient in using windows-based computer operating systems, applying general laboratory skills in BSL 1 and 2 laboratory courses, documenting results, performing basic data analysis, and being able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. In the process of completing coursework to obtain a Biochemistry degree. Available to start work on the 29th of May.
