• Coordinating admissions with corresponding directly with the transportation team and call center to create a smooth stress-free experience for the client.
• Responsible for confirming benefit eligibility and confirmation while accessing Kymmis and Availity.
• Assist with clients belongings to accurately document and photograph so they can feel secure in entering treatment.
• Assist with coordinating and collecting co-pays, deductibles or other fees from clients that may be due at admission. Also creating money sheets for clients that have cash.
• Assist with coordinating and arranging client court transportation or documenting any court orders when necessary.
• Liaison to clients regarding initial questions and concerns as they begin their residential stay.
• Completing admission assessments and required paperwork documenting, photographing, outcome questionnaire all entered into KIPU the electronic medical records system. Creating a facesheet chart for each client.
• Other duties as assigned by my team lead or director. Often helping in AMA blocking and talking with clients that are experiencing anxiety.

In 2020 I came to this wellness center ( my name for it ) when going through a divorce after been married for 30 years I began self-medicating to deal with my anxiety. I am proud to work for a company with such profound effects on individuals seeking help with substance abuse disorders. I achieved my first goal by obtaining my APSS ( adult peer support specialist) in November 2023. I am planning to continue my education, even at my age I feel I have a lot to do and goals to achieve.
