I did take a college class in computer to learn how to use it, but I'm sure that is no longer applicable to what the computer is doing these days.
I am willing to learn new ways of doing things if someone is willing and patient to deal with me.
I will also be there when I should be and let my employer know when I will not be able to make it to work or schedule ahead of time a day I may need to take off.
I would be a reliable employee and continue to do my best in whatever circumstances I am placed.
I seem to work well with customers and keep a cheerful attitude and look at the positive.
I enjoy being active. I have a workout routine in the morning before going to play pickleball.
I am volunteering at our church school by serving the noon lunch and cleaning up afterwards.
I am co-chairman of our Parish Life Committee at our church that keeps me focused on doing things for our members.
I enjoy singing in our church choir.
I weighed and processed tickets with the different grains we bought and sold. Made sure all grain tickets matched our computer records.
Prepared receipts for customers who were buying mixed feeds from our mill.
Billed out to customers who were using us for their spraying needs.
Made receipts for customers who came in for sacked feeds, nuggets, chemicals.
During harvest I would receive samples of the grain to test for moisture and test weight of the grain. When corn was sampled we also tested for Alfatoxin .
I balanced our cash flow for the day and deposited it in the bank.
Answered phone and transfered to manager if I could not answer their question, or if they just wanted to speak with the manager
Looked up grain prices for the day. When a customer wanted to sell their grain, I would have to see what price was for that day and sell accordingly as to how many bushels they were wanting to sell. I would print out a check and sign. Either they came in for it or I mailed it.
I was in charge of maintaining and keeping the office clean.
I homeschooled our children all these years till our two youngest were starting high school.
Right out of college. I started with filing cancelled checks and making sure they were signed by the customer and written out properly. I answered the phone and told customers the balances in their checking account.
I also worked with customers who were having trouble balancing their register with their account.
I were assigned to get mail stamped and taken to post office as well as getting the banks mail.
This was during my college years at St. John's in Winfield, KS.
While taking classes I did some personal house cleaning as well as being a waitress in the evenings and weekends.
