My responsibilities as a Civilian Support Staff member for the Hampden Township Police Department include:

• Greeting visitors and complainants professionally, directing them appropriately and ensuring a positive first impression of the department.
• Answering the telephone and assisting callers by providing information or directing to appropriate employee.
• Resolving caller or in-person inquiries with patience and empathy, fostering positive relationships between the community and police.
• Dispatching police calls and maintaining proper radio procedure in accordance with the Cumberland County 9-1-1 Communication SOP.
• Assisting in maintenance of department records management system including criminal case files, juvenile files, arrest files, house checks, special needs resident registry, and false alarm violations.
• Obtaining proficiency in JNET, CNET, TraCS, PowerDMS, and PD Evidence.
• Assisting in entering and retrieving police data, as well as crime crime/incident analysis and statistics.
• Tracking and maintaining warrants presented to the police department from the Magisterial District Judge.

• Working at a privately run daycare I was responsible for overseeing and caring for children under 5 years old
• Responsibilities of the job included:
• Observing children throughout the day to ensure their comfort and safety
• Offering food for meal times as well as feeding young babies
• Ensuring the children maintain proper hygiene and change diapers accordingly
• Putting children down for naps
• Fostering an environment where they are able to learn social etiquette and manners
• Reporting to parents about daily activities and developments in their children.

• During my time as a security officer for KRE I was responsible for ensuring the safety of residents at Messiah Lifeways, as well as ensuring the campus was secure
• My responsibilities included:
• Scanning checkpoints around the campus buildings to confirm areas were secure
• Escorting EMTs, Police, and the Fire Department when emergencies arose
• Performing wellness checks on residents in suspected need
• Responding to maintenance issues and contacting on-call maintenance staff accordingly
• Providing excellent service to residents I interacted with
• Periodically patrolling each building on site
• Periodically patrolling the campus in a vehicle.

• Over the course of two years I created a safe and secure environment for two separate elderly clients who needed assistance to remain in their homes
• Job duties included daily living activities such as:
• Medication reminders and management
• Meal prepping
• Household chores
• Transportation
• Personal care
• Monitoring changes in cognition
• Safe mobility assistance
• Fall risk assessment and assistance with fall prevention

• Greeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary
• Seating guests at tables or in waiting areas
• Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping in mind table rotation so that all servers receive the right number of customers
• Accommodating and managing large parties
• Engaging with customers and assuring they are having a good experience
• Responding to complaints and helping resolve them
• Helping in other positions in the restaurant as needed.
