Vaccine Coordinator (VFC, VFA, GSK - PRIVATE, & COVID VACCINES)

  • Successfully headed VFC/VFA and COVID audits, by utilizing a correctly formulated binder I have created, which included management plans, certifications, inventory, vaccine invoices, workflows, temperature logs, and reports.
  • Traveled to sister clinics to oversee and provide assistance on how to properly manage their vaccine programs.
  • Educated fellow BOMA's how to properly utilize vaccines, document vaccines given, and correct use of their 6 rights of administering medication/vaccines
  • Liaised and coordinated with vaccine representatives to present information on any new vaccines to our providers, to better educate patients and increase vaccine administration.

Specialty in Pediatrics

  • Collected vital signs for patients ranging from newborn to 18 years of age. For patients under the age of 3, I collected temperature, weight, height, heart rate/pulse, and head circumference.
  • Independently administered vaccines, based on provider orders, to keep patients up to date on their immunization schedule.
  • Educated the patient's parents/guardians about medications, procedures, physician's instructions, outside referrals, lab requisition forms, VIS forms of vaccines receiving, and/or how to properly care for common vaccine reaction or adverse reactions.
