  • Recreation Fee Coordinator for Region 2: Analyze and evaluate changes in Recreation Fee Program operations at the refuge level, developing planning documents, and providing training to staff on new policies, standards, and procedures. Oversee point-of-sale systems and ensure compliance with fee management policies. Conduct substantial analysis of fee policies, identify trends, and implement improvements to enhance administration and operations at the refuge level. Oversee the auditing process for fee operations, analyzing policies to improve customer service and reduce fraud, while collaborating with the Headquarters Fee Coordinator to establish new audits and procedures.   • Forest Planning and Interdisciplinary Team: Part of an interdisciplinary team to conduct forest inventory, Environmental Assessments (NEPA) and forest plans. I was part of the team, which held public meetings, facilitated work groups, and put together multiple resource projects. I was part of a national team that trained forests across the country on how to develop and implement the NEPA process for forest plans and projects.
  • Landscape Architecture: Assist the field with Scenery Management system, prepare documents for court cases or FOIA's regarding scenic integrity.
  • Recreation Site Design: Managed and prepared design and construction documents for contracting for field station projects such as campgrounds, picnic areas, wild and scenic river facilities, fishing piers, etc. Worked with foresters, fisheries biologists, archaeologist, and other disciplines and agencies to complete the projects.
  • Recreation Fee: Assist Field stations with writing business and communications plans for Recreation Fee projects.
  • Facilities: Designed barrier free facilities for recreation projects, worked with archaeologist to mitigate conflicts between sensitive sites and visitors, develop operation and maintenance plans after site construction to aid the field station maintenance staff in making sure the facilities operate smoothly.
