Traumatic Brain Injury Research 2019- Research aimed to study the neurological effects of low-level blast exposure that servicemembers underwent during both deployment and training. Ultimately, we hope to use these findings to implement new range guidelines throughout the military to improve the safety and quality of life for these operational servicemembers.

  • Used wearable blast sensors attached to servicemembers helmets to collect multidirectional overpressure, and acceleration data for impacts sustained on the rocket range using Carl-Gustav's.
  • Measured pre and post-blast vital signs for apnea, bradycardia, and hypotension.
  • Drew labs pre and post-blast exposure for markers of oxidative stress.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation 2019- Research aimed to study the efficacy of TransMagnetic Stimulation Therapy of the prefrontal cortex in the treatment of Tinnitus and Post-Concussive migraines in TBI patients.

  • Researched, developed and tested different treatment techniques pertaining to train length, number of pulses given and location of stimulation.
