I oversee of all General merchandise and all the team members. Supervise to ensure all freight is ran, all POGs are set, all guest have a good experience while shopping. I set the schedules for my team members. I help develop and coach the General Merchandise Team.
I get orders ready for shipping, I put the orders on pallets. I then get the dimensions and weight of the order for the clerk to ship the order. After the clerk picks the carrier I put the packing slip and labels on the order. I also us FedEx and UPS to ship orders via grounds. I drive the forklift to put products in the steel or get products down.
Service partner for Amazon delivery. I managed the business, the owners lived in Atlanta. So I was the operations manager. When I opened I Setup routes, assign vans, helped with loading vans for our drivers. Manage drivers while they’re on the road. Help with delivery questions/ sent rescues as needed. Set in on meetings, also did interviews. When I closed I debriefed drivers about their metrics for the day. I also did routes whenever needed.
I was in charge of the unloading of the general merchandise truck and the grocery truck. Also stocking both sides of the store. I Had 20 associates I was in charge of. I helped set POGs, did interviews, coached the team members as well as did the schedules.
