Responsible for all pre-analytical specimen processing that includes reception, extraction, storage, and documentation

Following the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and processing, and maintaining records of daily performance; maintain records which demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens

Adhering to the laboratory’s quality control policies and documenting all QC activities, instrument and procedural calibrations, and instrument maintenance in qualitative specimen analyses; and perform high complexity testing in accordance to the laboratory’s policies

Maintaining a clean and orderly laboratory and maintain equipment in clean and properly functioning state; keep inventories of supplies and stocks and mankind purchase orders for items that were needed for the lab, and maintain technical records; comply with laboratory safety procedures
