I’m Kailey Watkins and I’m 16 years old, I’ve always wanted to work at a coffee shop so when I turned 16 on June 23rd I knew I had to apply right away! The workers at Starbucks are always the sweetest people it would be an honor to work alongside them! I love coffee, I have it every day In the morning to start my day off on a good note. I love trying new things and I feel like with being a barista you have to be open to different recipes and trying new things which I am definitely open to! You guys should higher me because I’m addicted to Starbucks because of how much I love it and I’m a determined person that’s willing to do whatever you guys need me to! I’m very adaptable and flexible so if things need to be adjusted or changed you can rely on me. I’m a very social person so I’d definitely be interacting with customers and coworkers!
- As a member of Key Club, I participated in various community service projects, developing leadership skills and a strong sense of teamwork. I organized events, volunteered regularly, and helped make a positive impact in my community. This experience taught me the importance of giving back and working collaboratively to achieve common goals.
(I lettered in Key Club this year!)
- In Cooking Club, I got to try out new recipes and learn cool cooking techniques. I worked with other members to plan and cook meals, organized fun cooking events, and explored different cuisines. This helped me become better at managing my time, working with others, and appreciating the art of cooking.
- In FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America), I worked on projects that focused on personal development, leadership skills, and community service. I participated in events and competitions, helped organize activities, and collaborated with others to make a difference in our community. This experience taught me how to lead, work as a team, and plan effectively.
