During my time volunteering at Norman Regional Hospital, I had the opportunity to observe various departments and gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a healthcare setting. I rotated through multiple units, including Peds Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical Unit, ICU, where I observed patient care practices, interdisciplinary teamwork, and the roles of different healthcare professionals. This experience deepened my understanding of hospital workflows and strengthened my interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.
