- In my position as a CBP Agriculture Specialist, I contribute to a safer and more secure future by delivering expert insights on targeting passenger for inspection, analysis, intelligence gathering and law enforcement activities, related to the importation of agricultural and commercial commodities at ports of entry.
- Extensive knowledge of agricultural regulation and regulatory manuals.
- Inspecting travelers and agricultural commodities by random targeting with a 65 percent positive rate on an average in all quarters
- . Assessing the admissibility of agricultural goods to prevent the introduction of invasive pests, biological threats and animal diseases.
- Preventing agroterrorism and bioterrorism: Detect and prevent deliberate acts involving biological agents, toxins, and selected threat.
- Intercepting pests. Safeguarding prohibited/regulated detained commodities for other agencies.
- Utilizing USEC, EMIS, SEACATS, ARM, TECs, BESA and other application.
- Collaborating with other component of CBP and outside agencies (USDA, USFWS, CDC and FDA), such as-
- Interagency collaboration between CBPAS, CBPO, BTOS and CDC ensure effective regulation of biological samples.
- Target a passenger on 9/25/2026 via roving which leads to detention of 230 unlabeled vials, 13 syringes filled with unknown liquid, 20%human albumin and vials of Botox which later handed over to TTRT & BTOS.
- On 9/17/2026 targeted a passenger randomly and further baggage examination revealed 10 vials of various Amino acids without any documentation, further handed over to BTOS for further evaluation.
- Supported BTOS in the inspection and processing of 2000 non-infectious human DNA and RNA specimen tubes for clinical research at JFK Terminal 4, ensuring proper handling, documentation and regulatory compliance on 03/23/2025.
- Performing special operation with NYSDEC and NOAA
- 10 ct Giant African snail from Uzbekistan on 06/20/2024 published in port director weekly & agricultural monthly report. (CBPAS & USFWS)
- Sea cucumber from China on 03/17/2025, 03/24/2025 and 05/29/2025 which are endangered species. (CBPAS & USFWS) highlighted with importance and port director/ monthly report.
- Targeted various passenger from different countries which leads to seizure of significant amount of Blood clams, report was highlighted in OFO discussion, and many other published in port director and monthly reports.
- 425 pieces of live betta fishes seized from Dominican Republic and handed over to USFWS on 05/09/2025.
- Conducted targeting, inspection, documentation, and post-operation analysis during special operation " Heat Wave" , "Clam dig", " Mid-autumn festival" and many others at JFK international airport targeting many flights screening more then 1000 passengers and seizing 42.95kgs of plant, 5.535kgs of swine and 5kgs of ruminant.
- I successfully identified and enforced highest civil penalties within FY 2025 & 2026. These penalties underscore the rigorous efforts taken to ensure adherence to CBP/USDA standards and regulations. My proactive approach in identifying violations and implementing corrective actions has positioned our terminal as a model for regulatory compliance.
