Since I was a childn all I ever wanted to be with a nurse. My mother was a nurse, and I felt like it was the most admirable profession to be somebody that helps others.
In my tenure at saint Francis. I learned so many things and stretched my my knowledge to cover as many things as I could so I could help many different patient populations and help make sure that all units were staffed appropriately because because patient safety is key..
During that time I had two little girls, Two little boys custody, And fostered a medically needy heart/vent baby for 5 years.
I feel like all of these experiences I bring to my travel nursing career and they help me in every situation.
I'm able to pull on a lot of different. Exposures to be able to meet all of my patient's needs regardless of their subspecialty. I'm also able to better meet the needs of patients and their families because I know what it's like to be a parent on the other end of the bed with little control over what happens to your child.
I love my career, and will continue to do it well into my old age, It is truthfully my life's purpose and so very fulfilling to me.
Through my 15 years as a nurse I have developed a wide variety of skills and specialities Adding to the skills listed at Saint Francis, I have since become a very skilled CVICU nurse thanks to OU childrens for the opportunity I have enjoyed deepening and broadening my experience and depth of knowledge in nursing As well as pushing me to become all the more adaptable to any environment or situation at hand

After leaving there, I focused on the health and saftey of my medically fragile Foster Child. I was able to be my son’s home health nurse through Aveanna Pediatrics. He was very medically complex (trache/vent, gtube and Cardiac issues). He was adopted to his forever family last year as a trache free healthy, happy child. I am so greatful to have been part of his journey. I have since had the pleasure of traveling arcross the country in many different specialties and hospitals. I have loved it. But now I am wanting to try to give my family some permanancy and I feel your hospital may be our perfect fit. My coworkers often describe me as a “team player", "hard working", "knowledgeable " and "flexible". I hope I'm your perfect fit!
