Karen Kondo

I am from Tokyo, Japan. I started playing tennis at the age of 3 and was ranked 3rd in Japan in doubles when I was in junior high school. I also competed in the All-Japan Tennis Championships several times in high school. Two years ago, when I first came to the U.S., I could not speak a word of English, but through tennis, I have made many friends and now many people compliment me on my English. I can swallow work faster than others. I can judge situations appropriately and quickly, and I am competitive and very cautious. I would like to interact with many more people through tennis.
