Maintain and reviewed bi-weekly salaried, hourly and commission payroll, incentives and bonus structure for 400 + employees utilizing Kronos Software, Time Keeper Interface, Excel and Access.
Other responsibilities:
FMLA - Familiar with Family Medical Leave and the process prior to short term disability. Review documentation and approve employee's return to work.
Workman's Comp - Track workman compensation first report of injuries
Recruitment- Place ad's via newspaper, job fair, and affirmative action agencies.
Sheig Assessment - Monitor applicant results for specific job files. Background Check - Enter data to complete background check during hiring process through Secure Choice Point.
Drug Screens - Schedule pre-employment, random and follow up drug screen for both DOT and Non DOT employees. Monitor employees who complete SAP program - (Substance Abuse Program).
Affirmative Action Plan - Track and maintain job files with voluntary supplement forms.
Misc - Prepare disciplinary warnings using MS Works database.
Type memos, consult, investigate, review and prepare documents for Unemployment Compensation hearings.
Maintain job descriptions, I-9's, fair labor posters, employee suggestions, scanning process of documents, functional activity codes,
employee paid time off, vacation cash out, non-compete reminders, track employee absences and verify employee's file documentation prior to releasing employee.
Review and approve hourly employee bonus at year end.
Document meetings when employees were termed, as well as discipline warnings with employees
