I received the training to become a certified advocate and followed a case through for two children. I understood the necessity of communication with all parties involved such as the foster parents, lawyers, and family service specialists. I took excellent notes after each visit to make sure that all concerns would be addressed and my report would be detailed once presented to the judge.


Autism Society of the Black Hills - 01/2014-12/2018

I have a 22 year old son with Autism and have learned the true meaning of advocacy when it comes to fighting for his rights. There are too many children and adults that do not have a voice to stand up for them. It is important for families to know they are not alone and that resources to help are available.
