Karla Plascencia

I have three tables of my own when I serve. I greet my tables and take their orders. I keep them updated on the status of their food while they wait and ensure they have everything they want until they walk out the doors.

I work with at least 15 other servers and an entire kitchen staff. I maintain a clear head and calmly sort out any misunderstandings with customers or coworkers if they arise.

I love to meet new people and get all sorts of perspectives from customers who have had different experiences or traveled.

I usually worked alone until the last hours of my shifts. I maintained a clean and organized environment, making sure the cafe, the dish area, and the area where customers sat were clean and restocked at all times.

I can multi-task easily under pressure and take on multiple customers at a time. I loved to greet people and talk to them, especially regulars.

I enjoyed making all kinds of drinks and did my best to help and understand customers who were lost or unsure what to order.
