- Carefully measure prescriptions, prepare and print labels and individually fill 500+ orders for patients on a daily basis in a high volume mail order pharmacy for Veterans. Successful working independently with minimal supervision in addition to coordinating with pharmacists, co workers and packaging dept to accomplish maximum and efficient production. Report discrepancies in patient sigs to pharmacist for verification.
- Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies by rotating incoming stock to ensure the earliest expiration dates are dispensed first using the FIFO method. Organize and replenish stock on to shelves. Report damaged product to appropriate personnel. Prepare for quarterly wall to wall inventory by organizing and consolidating stock for increased efficiency. Voluntarily participate for off tour hours to count and reconcile inventory and additionally offer to work extra hours needed to assist in production. Perform requested cycle counts and audits for Logistics Dept.
- Experience working in all production departments within CMOP including: Baxter, Flex and ADU automated dispensing locations, offline areas: Refrigeration, Manual, Caution Cage and Bulk. Within automated departments, I recognize, diagnose and collaborate with Engineering and IT Departments to resolve equipment issues to keep production up and running. In Offline Manual and Caution Departments, I prioritize orders to ensure oldest orders are filled first and use Eyecon counting tray to accurately fill prescriptions and apply patient labels. With my knowledge and leadership, I am frequently relied upon to train new employees in all areas of production.
- Implemented process improvements in Refrigerants and Flex Departments that enhanced efficiency in order fulfillment.
