  • Worked as a Senior SDET engineer on a scrum team. Led the software quality effort for the team and the track. Built a robust automation framework using behavior driven development (BDD)-Jbehave and Selenium to test web applications and restful web services following industry wide best practices. Worked with the Product owner and cross functional team to identify the business needs, convert them into requirements and automate them under the automation framework.
  • Figured out ways to automate the unautomated, thus getting rid of manual test cases. Refactored the automation test suite, improved code reusability and execution time. Managed test data creation for automation. Made effective use of automation framework to set up mock data for manual testing purposes.
  • Worked with dev-ops to set up CI/CD job for the nightly BDD runs. Monitored the test results on a daily basis and worked with the team to fix the flakey tests thus achieving 95+% success rate.
