Hello, My name is Kary Fox and I am a wife and mother of 4 looking for a rewarding opportunity to serve. I find it very important to not only include my worldly tasks and accomplishments but also the role I serve 7 days a week. God has blessed me with an amazing family that supports me in every role I have ever been apart of. I feel as if my family is a huge factor in every role because at the end of the day I work and put in 100% for them. I believe that is also important for any company looking for the perfect candidate to know that any company I work for I treat as my own. My success equals your success and if we as a team and company are not growing it will not be successful. I am looking for an opportunity to allow my light to shine and to take your company to the next level. Success starts with a successful and moldable team that wants whats best for the company as well as for themselves. At the end of the day I do not want just a job. A job takes from my family but an opportunity where I can serve and pour into others gives back to my family as well as myself.
At Brookdale Assisted living I was privileged enough to serve in many roles before being the Assistant Director. Most Directors are hired in on that level with little experience of what happens on the grounds. I was blessed to be able to see the day to day operations as former Business Office Director, Sales & Marketing Coordinator and the Patient Care Coordinator. I came to Brookdale right before COVID hit America. I am very proud to say that I was the first Brookdale Director to form a team and keep every resident in house vs. having to send out to a nursing home. As a team we developed a COVID wing and moved patients accordingly. We were able to keep COVID positive employees on pay roll by working on this wing without symptoms. Being as we were a non-staffed nurse facility it required round the clock Tele-Health calls and a very timely schedule to make this happen and keep our residents in their homes at Brookdale. When a resident joined our Brookdale family I wanted to make sure they knew that we took their last years in life as our own. What better way to serve than to love and give back to someone in their last years. Staffing Assisted livings is not the easiest. It can be very hard work but at the end of the day I encouraged every one of my staff to leave their problems at the door and indulge in the sweetness of our seniors and absorb all you can. Life is too short to show up for a "Job" love what you do and walk away better!
