Review federal, state and local laws to maintain compliance.
Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, onboarding and conducting orientations for new hires. Collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for each position.
Handle investigations, complaints, terminations, disciplinary actions and sensitive employee matters.
Administer benefit information to employees and assist with inquiries during open enrollment periods and throughout the year.
Create and track training/development programs for employees. Identify areas of improvement for departments and employees.
Responsible for planning and organizing employee events such as Employee Appreciation Day, Internal/External Holiday parties, monthly birthday/anniversary lunches, competitions, retirement parties, etc. Also assist in coordinating company events such as business after business and USCTI.
Participate in annual audits such as W/C, I-9, 401K, personnel files, etc.
Review timecards and process payroll weekly for Exempt and Non-Exempt employees.
Review and update handbooks/policies as needed.
Maintain all employee files, records and documentation.
