As an employee I began with Retail, and what that included was customer service, finding the correct product as requested, prepared billing and invoices for customer purchases and recorded transaction date, price and fees to support accuracy.
After learning the products better I then was trained on entering in orders. While taking this role I would call retail customers and accounts to receive and place in their orders, answering emails, schedule delivery’s and pick ups, and solved any issues that was called and recorded. The problems that would occur are delayed deliveries which included getting an ETA, missing and or ruined product that which would be replaced and or credited that day.
After taking this role for a few months, I was promoted to a higher role and was trained in Accounts Receivable then submitted cash and checks deposits and generated cash receipts to record money received. Prepared and mailed out invoices, processed payments and any account updates. Reviewed accounts on a monthly basis to assess aging and pursue collection funds.
