I successfully completed the home study course in 2/2003. I am currently re-taking the course and once hired, will take the Certified Ophthalmic Assistant test. I plan to continue on and eventually become a Certified Opthalmic Technician. I am required to have a Physician sponsor in order to sit for the exam.
