Leader for Animal Networking and Advocate Group

  • Create and run multiple online chats to help to network, advocate and connect rescues with fosters and adopters for dogs on high kill euthanasia list
  • Lead a group of 90 networkers, fosters, and rescue groups from all over the United States, Canada, and other countries to help ensure the safety of death row dogs.
  • As a leader, my role is to grow our group of fosters, both local and throughout the United States, as well as our group of networkers and advocates.
  • I lead by example and motivate, educate, promote the mission, and encourage a team atmosphere where collaboration is rewarded and essential to reach our goals.
  • Foster dogs and find them homes that best suit the needs of that animal and family
  • Provide a safe place for my team to come while also being a neutral and diplomatic voice
  • Partner and take a very active role in the rescues to call references and vet applications, plan and facilitate adoption events, help to write grant requests, help to keep all information of the dogs, fosters, etc.
  • Reach out to the director, board of directors, and live release team of the government-funded high-kill shelters to collaborate and create programs that will ensure funds go to programs that help save more animals.
  • Come up with fundraising and special events to enable our rescues to continue to help save animals
  • I am on a task force that has a goal to promote education, communication, and awareness of the animal welfare laws. We help to come up with solutions to the crisis in primarily Texas to promote public education of the importance of spay/neuter, understanding animal behavior, kind training, and how to compassionately care for animals.
