Throughout my undergraduate and graduate work, I was an emergency veterinary technician for fifteen years in the State of Colorado. My passion was critical care and I was specially trained to provide care for animals and pet owners in life-threatening situations. As an emergency and critical care vet tech, I worked closely with veterinarians to provide direct patient care, including emergency and urgent care. To provide emergency and critical care to pets, I was skilled in triage, critical and acute care, and acted decisively to save the lives of their patients.
