I helped dental assist with procedures such as fillings, crown preparation, and crown insertions. I would also take periapicals, along with a full mouth series. The office where I worked was mainly a medical office that specializes in craniofacial pain, sleep apnea, and TMD, so I would assist with new patient exams, which consisted of taking a CBCT, JVA Q, and taking notes, and I would explain treatment. I would also insert appliances and make sure they fit well. I would also perform the patient's studies, which consisted of the tests to be made to the appliances. I would assist the doctor with patient check-ups and how they were doing. I was also in charge of lab work, checking in appliances, along with invoices, and making an Invisalign-type appliance to go along. I would clean operatories, file charts, send prescriptions that patients needed, help with sterilization, and making phone calls.

I was a cashier at Food Lion. I would check people's groceries out, bag groceries, stock the candy aisle, and I would get carts and bring them inside. Sometimes I would help with produce, and I would put away items customers didn't want anymore at the end of the shift.

I started this job off as a part-time summer job as a rover which consisted of making charts, pulling charts, prepping charts, answering phones, greeting patients, cleaning operatories after patient use, and helping in the sterilization area.
