This also includes telephone interviews with patients when all other tools and/options has been exhausted. Facilitate Public Health Insurance screening and enrollment via NY State of Health for the uninsured populations. Accurately update and revise Demographics, Biographic, and Insurance information in Epic. Inform parents or their representatives via mail and/ or telephone of their scheduled appointment date, time and location. Perform customer service and / or billing inquiries for patients presenting with account issues, billing issues, etc Conducts patient interviews and/or pre-screening process to obtain identifying/ qualifying demographic, biographic and insurance information to assist with completing the New Patient Registration process. Demonstrate the ability to be flexible, organized, and function efficiently in a fast paced environment. Handles telephonic financial screening DAR schedule. Reviews and patients from WQ and conducts pre-screening, provide list of documents and schedule appointments for Financial Counseling in the DAR. Other assignments and special projects as deemed necessary and/ or appropriate by Department.
