I am a dedicated and hard-working Customer Service Representative motivated to maintain customer satisfaction. I have done jobs where that is the main goal, along with making sure the job I am doing is correct, sufficient, and professional. Flexibility is a trait that I have and able to adapt to any environment, I fit in well with anyone. I am devoted to giving every customer a positive and memorable experience.
I perform the duties in a call center scheduling all orthopaedic appointments for the locations we have in our central area. I am knowledgable with the medical terminiology and have basic anatomy knowledge as well. If needed I also transfer calls to different departments as needed. I was given the opportunity to handle our online requests so any appointment requested online, my duty was to reach out to that person and get them scheduled. I currently handle incoming calls, help with our referral team from time to time, and reach out to patients who have been referred to us to get them scheduled.
During my time here, I have also helped out with the Ortho on Call front desk intermittently on some weekends and after my regular work shift as a patient access coordinator during the week. I really enjoyed doing that. In that role of course I collected copayments, answered calls for the office and ensured patients understood the forms they were asked to sign and just be that friendly face they see when they first walked in.
I was a part time sales associate with the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority “Va ABC” . I performed the duties of stocking, inventory checks, helping customers with questions about products and cashing them out when they were ready to make a purchase.
I performed the front desk duties in doctors offices within Bon Secours Medical Group. I would be responsible for answering the phones for patients assisting them with anything they needed such as scheduling an appointment, collecting co-payments, putting in prescription refill requests and handling some medical records request that may need immediate attention.
