As a paraeducator I worked alongside and under the direction of a certified or licensed educator to support and assist with providing instructional and non-instructional services to children and their families. I spent a large amount of time delivering personalized educational, behavioral and emotional support to individual students to enable positive learning outcomes. Some of my students were severe cases entrusted to me, and I greatly enjoyed watching their growth and development both academically and emotionally.

• Performed general chair-side duties for general dentistry, endo procedures, and oral surgery.
• Documented patient dental health information, medical history, and vital signs for future reference.
• Sanitized trays, instruments, and surfaces for clean dental office setting and patient safety procedures
• Specialized in assisting the doctor during periodontal and endodontic procedures as well as routine fillings, cleanings, and crowns
• Conducted comprehensive periodontal charting and educated 100+ patients in proper oral hygiene practices.
• Performed advanced dental X-rays, panoramic radiographs and Cone Beam Computed Tomography Scans (CBCT).
