Global Director of Talent Acquisition

  • Promoted to lead and merge Classy’s recruiting team (a company we acquired in 2021) with the existing recruiting team I built at GoFundMe. I created a specialized focus for each team member, promotional track, and growth opportunity for the combined team that best supported the business. The team I oversaw was 12 people total composed of Manager level and below.
  • Led the globalization effort to reduce 2024 annual technical headcount cost by 40% by hiring in Latin America & non-technical headcount in Poland by 50%. Spearheading this initiative led to a total average cost savings of $5 million + by the end of 2024. I built a recruiting team of 1 recruiting manager and 4 additional recruiters based in Latin America to support this hiring initiative.
  • Created a weekly presentation tied to a dashboard with overall headcount cost, roles to be hired, filled, and attrition for our CFO & CEO.
  • I boosted & refined our recruiting process efficiency by 30% through the implementation of data-driven insights, resulting in a 25% decrease in time-to-fill and cost-to-hire. When merging the two recruiting teams I drove merging both ATS systems, tools, and processes to reduce overall cost and simplify and amplify how we operate.
  • I oversaw a $1.5 million department budget that included: headcount cost of the team (including contractors), cost of tools & systems, programs, partnerships and vendors.

  • I oversaw and tracked the headcount for a 500 + employee business via Greenhouse and google sheets. I tracked and reconciled any discrepancies and cost per headcount with finance.
  • I implemented Pave to help candidates better understand their total compensation package including equity. I co-led pay transparency compliance & best practices.
  • The company maintained 50% employee diversity by 2022. I drove our Diversity & Inclusion initiatives forward from 2019- 2023. This included always maintaining at least a 50% diverse talent pipeline, training and educating interviewers & hiring managers how to reduce bias, and leveraging data and reporting tools for accountability. We utilized GEM & Seekout.
  • I spearheaded our employer branding strategy to drive 25% more brand awareness year over year. This also went hand in hand with ensuring we had an excellent candidate experience & a streamlined process from application through onboarding. This also included managing LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed.
  • Grew our recruiting team and managed an RPO model, staffing firms, and vendors to continue to help the business scale. The team hired 180 people annually on average year over year 2021 and onward.

  • I led and created a company wide training program. I trained and created a how to & best practices on utilizing Confluence and Greenhouse to track scorecards/feedback and competency and culture questions. I ensured an excellent candidate experience.
  • Full cycle recruiter for up to 10 job openings at any given time in: corporate, G&A, engineering, data, customer support and sales. I managed a full req load while managing a 2 person team & team operations.
  • I ensured everyone who was brought into our process embodied our culture, mission, and company values.
  • Full implementation of Greenhouse ATS in 2016. Greenhouse expanded and became a centralized system for the recruiting team’s reporting & workflows, and was utilized company wide.
  • I refined and adapted our “pitch” of why to work at GoFundMe year over year based on business evolution. I created our intake, debrief process, and ensured that recruiters shadowed the departments they were recruiting for. Oversaw pipeline reporting and sourcing.
