Bar Back

09.2021 - 09.2021
  • During this job I was asked to come home from college to work with one of the girls that lived on my floor. Her parents owned a bar and they were extremely short staffed. That weekend I was working in the upstairs part of the bar, so my jobs were running downstairs to pour the right drinks, bussing tables, cleaning surfaces, washing dishes, taking drink orders, carrying up pales of ice, and doing what I could to lend a helping hand. I didn’t have much experience at all working in that type of environment, but I was excited to learn something new. After that weekend was finished, I realized how important communication skills are and how I can improve how I convey what I am saying.

06.2019 - 06.2019
  • At this job I was solely responsible for properly scanning and filing papers into the system. I was also in charge of keeping the office organized, files secure, and profiles updated. My biggest accomplishment was getting through the whole alphabet of clients before my work week was over. When this job came to an end, I learned how to work with a new computer program, and the importance of organization.
