Driven and accomplished Hair Salon Owner at Kate's Family Hair Care, I leveraged my expertise in Business Management and exceptional communication to develop a loyal clientele, significantly enhancing salon revenue through strategic marketing. Skilled in Quickbooks and customer service, I ensured operational excellence, embodying problem-solving abilities and financial acumen. Although i was a sole business owner for 21 years i worked consistently with the public and other groups in the Springview area to enhance the community and our children.
PTO: Served on our local PTO board for seven years, and served as Vice President for one term. Organized fundraising events to benefit Keya Paha County School, and to bolster enthusiasm for our students and administration.
Catechism Teacher: Taught class for 14 years in our churches in Ainsworth St. Pius X and Bassett Holy Cross to help provide our youth to a closer relationship with Jesus.
Home Town Holiday: Worked with a group to organize a Vendor Fair to support not only our local Keya Paha businesses but also the surrounding area. Showcasing in one area, the small business vendors. This project was non profit, and with the money raised we were able to provide Scholarships to two Seniors every year.
