Moving from the corporate world to not-for-profit has been one of the most rewarding opportunities I have been awarded in my career path. I would like to express my interest in continuing to grow on that path by applying for the Lead Direct Support Professional position. I believe my desire to continually learn and teach others will make me valuable in this role. I will implement the knowledge gained in my work and with my team. Helping to enforce guidelines and maintain a compliant and safe work environment for the team and home for the specialists. 

I have room for improvement in allowing others to work in a manner that does not always fit my idea of efficiency without micromanaging or feeling frustrated by their different methods from my own. Learning to give others grace and space to improve without my criticism.  While also speaking up when the need to do so arises. 

I am excited to grow with the company. To continually expand my knowledge in the field. To share new ideas and work alongside the team and Program Manager to provide the best care and opportunities possible for the specialists.
