I worked with mentally disabled adults of all functioning levels, but mainly high functioning with aggressive tendencies. I helped the live-in residents with morning routine activities (clothing, breakfast, hygiene, ect.). I assisted the clients in completing personal goals and activities. I helped to calm the residents when they happened to become upset or aggressive (using policies and procedures taught by Washington state for a wide range of situations). I helped the residents learn and maintain qualities that would reflect a contributing member of society.
