During my time in OFA, I was responsible for leading the Mental Health Advocacy and Stigma Reduction cohort. Tasked with managing a cohort of twenty like-minded interns, our mission was to spread awareness on a wider scale, providing resources to our community within San Francisco, all in the hopes of spreading mental health awareness, acceptance, and understanding. Responsibilities included:

• Creating and hosting daily workshops aimed at improving the understanding of mental health as a whole.
• Facilitating teams to ensure each group of interns was on task, providing support and resources when needed.
• Providing one-on-one support outside of our meeting times.
• Extensive research to ensure all information presented within these workshops was as accurate as possible, ensuring that interns do the same for their own miniature projects.
• Creating a public website to showcase our cohort and the work created at the hands of everyone within.

As a Digital Navigator for JCYC Youthworks, located at an SFPL branch, I aimed to bridge the divide between technology and the elderly as both an individual navigator and a team. During my time as one, I:

• Mentored and supported the elders within our community, teaching them how to navigate the internet and better understand their devices.
• Provided technical support in relation to software issues, all while providing the client with a step-by-step lesson so that they can tackle the issue on their own in the future.
• Provided access to community programs so that clients may have access to affordable resources and aid.
• Coordinated with my teammates to tackle complex issues.
