The owner of this park contacted me last year. He was having problems with the manager and the park was 40% occupied. I came to the park on Oct 12 of 2024. I told the owner that I would stay for 1 year because I wanted to return to the gulf coast area. My year is almost up, the park is 98% full for the winter this year. Owner sold the park on Aug 31.

As General Manager, I have 1-2 couples working with me. I do landscaping, mowing with zero turn, weedeating, collecting rents, campground master, general bookkeeping and troubleshooting, deposits, I have a debit card to make purchases for the park. We have added a pond with dock and fountain. We are in the process of adding a pool. We went from 13 covered sites to 34. 76 total sites In 15 acre park.

I have managed 2 parks for Peter. This park is a 450 site park in Highlands, Tx between Baytown and Houston. I was General Manager. I supervised a team in the office and maintenance team. I was also certified as propane manager and I am certified for pool in Texas. I did landscaping, mowing, pool care, and we sold propane which I supervised. I did all bookkeeping, bank deposits, purchases for the park, kept records, and trained staff.

We had campground Master in the office. When he bought the park, the previous Corporation fired all employees, erased the computers and locked the doors. I went in, installed CM and trained staff. We loaded every guest into the computer from a stack of papers that they had left us.

My husband passed away in Dec of 2023 from pancreatic cancer. Very quick. I decided to go home and be with my children for awhile. i had trained an assistant who was fully capable of taking over the park. She is still there.

Converted park from paper reservations to software.

Took care of and stocked pond, installed fountains.

Park sold in December 2021 For over double what Peter had paid for it. I decided not to stay with the new owner. We left and went back to work for Mr. Forest at his new park in the Houston area.

General Manager

Took over this park after Harvey. We did storm cleanup and then filled the park back up after the storm.

Office manager. No other employees besides my husband.

2 couples owned this park. They got into an argument and werent speaking. It was an odd situation and we were in the middle of it. We stayed as long as we could and then finally resigned and they later sold the park.
