• Worked under Naeemah LaFond during her time as Global Artistic Director of :amika to teach her carefully curated education curriculum in salons. This curriculum included classes which focused largely on styling such as Product Knowledge, Bridal, Blowouts, & Braiding to name a few.

• Traveled to major cities throughout the USA working large hair shows such as IBS - NYC, ISSE -Long Beach, America’s Beauty Show - Chicago, Premier - Birmingham, Premier - Orlando, IBS - Las Vegas and more..

• Assisted in store at several Sephora’s on the West Coast to educate Cast Members on how to properly prescribe :amika products to clients.

• Working behind the chair as a booth rental stylist I was responsible for all ordering, book-keeping, state & federal tax filings and savings as a 1099 employee, education, & appointment reminders. While staying with in the parameters of my rental agreement such as paying rent on time, carrying my own insurance policy to protect my HairbyKJK LLC.

• Worked under guidance of experienced stylists to learn trade best practices and techniques. All while enhancing practical skills by working 1:1 with the salon owner and top performing stylists.
