Medical Assistant in a sleep medicine office. Room patients, take vitals, obtain history, verify medications, obtain download compliance for cpap therapy, send referrals and DME orders for oxygen and cpaps, screen phone calls and send to appropriate provider, prepare patient history for appointments, request and obtain previous sleep studies.

Returned to Saltzer Medical Group as a medical assistant in variety of roles. Float medical assistant in family medicine, OB/GYN, and sleep medicine. Saltzer Medical closed in March of 2024 and I stayed in sleep medicine with the sleep medicine director who opened a private practice in Boise.

• Assist nurse practitioner with rooming patients, obtaining vitals, telephone messages, contacting patients with results, administering medications, performing EKG's, manage prescription medication prior authorization, as well as sending referrals
• In addition worked with an Ortho provider sending referrals, applying casting to patients with fractures, and rooming patients

Assisted OB Gyn with rooming patients, vitals, patient history, phlebotomy, phone calls, and OB pregnancy tracking.

• Assisted provider part-time in an urgent care setting with all aspects of clinical care and phlebotomy when needed
• Assisted workers comp provider other days with patients injured on the job

• Assisted Certified Midwife with rooming patients, obtaining vitals, gynecology tests, as well as tracking OB needs during patient's pregnancy
• One day a week was answering incoming telephone calls and sending to the appropriate triage nursing staff
• Since I had not worked with this employer for one year and did not qualify for FMLA, I left when my mother's health seriously declined before her passing in February of 2017

• Greeted patients, assisted patients with all aspects of check-in for their appointments, answered telephone calls and scheduled appointments, mailed marketing materials, and closing operations at the end of the day
• Available if needed for back office help
• Moved back to Idaho after spouse's job ended in the oil field industry

• Began my medical assisting career in a dermatology office during my externship/practicum, and was subsequently hired upon completion of my training
• Assisted provider with all aspects of dermatology care such as biopsies, office surgeries, laser treatments, and rooming patients until my provider moved out of the area
