I work in production at First Quality where we manufacture adult female, male, or unisex depends. I rotate job duties with other staff members that work on the production line with myself and our lead operator. One day I cover the splicing area where I prep very large rolls of material for a robot to pick them up and put them in their perspective spots for when the roll before it runs out and the new one is spliced into play. Amongst other duties. We perform every 6 minute checks while
the line is running to ensure quality of the product. Another day I work with the elastic products, glue barrels and prepare other products that go into the production of the depends. Next rotation I work on the packaging end where the final product comes out to be boxed and then put onto a skid to go to the warehouse before shipping to customer. I perform hourly box checks to ensure the quality of the products, including the box, etc..
Supervised and worked in a home of individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and their staff, managed paperwork of the home, tracked their funds, ran reports, entered billing, approved staff timesheets, performed medication observations and mar reviews on staff, managed clients doctor appointments, documentation on all accounts of medical, behavioral, and their everyday living. I accompanied them on their appointments and entered information in our system, worked with management supervisory personnel and other members of their teams. Assisted individuals with the activities of their daily living, worked to promote independence, administer medications and document all aspects when and where needed. Documented daily behaviors and corresponded via email with immediate supervisors, doctors, staff, company nurse, etc. Continued to learn about KHS policies and assist with helping to train staff in them. Conducted staff meetings. Kept up with trainings required by agency in person and on our training site. I had also instructed newly hired employees and re-certified current employees in CPR/1st Aid.
Took care of disabled and those with intellectual disabilities in children, teens and or adults in their homes, while in the community, performed duties as requested in their care plans, any physical therapy requested as well, along with any other daily activities. I documented daily these daily activities done with the consumers during each shift and reported any issues as well to person assigned to the individual. I re-certified home health aids, nurses, offices staff and at times, their family members in CPR/1st Aid. I also trained new employees in CPR/1st Aid when requested by the company.
