  • I performed testing, calibrations, validations and maitenance in all areas of the laboratory with a concentration in Blood Bank.
  • In Chemistry I performed testing on Dimensions, Tosoh, Osmometer, pH meter and POCT on glucometer and iStat.
  • Hematology analyzer was an HMX, Coulter LH 750 and ACT 5 as a back up. I performed manual CSF and manual Semen Analysis. I also performed automated semen analysis on an MES SQA Vision, as well.
  • In Coagulation I performed testing on Sysmec 570 analyzer and we had a Siemens PFA 100 anaylzer as well.
  • Urinalysis was performed on a Cobas and automated qualitative hCG on a clinitek.
  • In Microbiology I implemented the Cepheid analyzers, performing testing, calibration, validation and correlation testing. I reviewed/audited results per SOP. Performed stat gram stains and wet preps.
  • Blood bank was a manual process. I performed Quality Control, quarterly maintenance and preformed daily reviews.
