Data recorded included length, width, thalwag, bank full, slope and special cases contained in the streams.
Orienteering with the use of maps and GPS, hiking with gear, to the mouths of the streams. Working as a Fish Tech II I was able to experience working with an excellent team, use problem solving skills daily, and demonstrate stream surveying.

My team gathered data from fish pens located on docks at three different places on Lake Roosevelt.
Operation of boats, pressure washer, plankton net, car buoys, microscopes and periodically spectrometer were demonstrated.
After samples were taken from pens, the macroinvertebrates were fixed and then identified by species with the use of the microscope. This data was then entered into an excel spreadsheet.
