Summary

I've worked at ION Solar (formally Vision Solar) for the past ten years. During this decade of employment, I've held many roles.

My expertise during my time at Ion has been being placed into or, in some instances, the creation of a role where there was an inefficiency or a “mess.” In these positions and assignments, I was able to use my creative problem and out-of-the-box thinking to create new systems and workflows. The system I created reduced company waste and delivered more efficient systems. These changes allowed those walking into the role to take over and continue managing successfully as I was moved to the next project that needed “cleaning up.”

My greatest asset is that I'm a hard worker who doesn't need constant supervision. I'm scrappy and highly capable. I'm not afraid of work. I enjoy seeing things develop from ground zero to a fully functional department or whatever it entails.

Every system, position, and role I have created has thrived, saving the company money and resources.

Consider me the company bulldog. If something needs to be fixed, a fire needs to be put out, or a mess cleaned up, I can easily walk into the situation and solve whatever issue is placed before me with an equitable and improved system to move forward.

I enjoy and thrive being in a VP or Director position where I have the ability to showcase my leadership and management skills.

Work History

Manager of Fleet & Facilities

  • Managed 200+ vehicles, directed placement of those vehicles in the 16 markets that the company is in.
  • Managed maintenance, gas cards, and auto accidents claims with vendors and operation managers to keep the fleet looking professional and operating properly to keep the fleet running smoothly.
  • Ordered vehicles according to the companies needs. Turned vehicles in according to the lease agreements giving the company the best return on their investment.
  • Managed fleet budgets with CFO and President of Operations in a weekly meeting to discuss fleet concerns/needs.
  • Traveled to 16 markets yearly/as needed to inspect fleet and move the correct driver into the best vehicle for their needs.
  • Managed and installed Geotab GPS units on fleet. To insure safety and proper use of vehicles.
  • Managed warehouse facilities in 16 markets with utilities, internet, and waste management to insure smooth operational costs and needs and to reach install goals in each area.
  • Managed forklift safety and maintenance on units in each market.
