Processes Family Medical Leave Act requests in compliance with federal regulations. Tracks employee FMLA use. Provides assistance and guidance to employees and supervisors regarding FMLA
Processes all leaves of absence
Serves as the agency's timekeeper
Assists with the agency's benefits programs, interpreting and ensuring compliance with all methods, policies, rules and procedures pertaining to various state benefits programs such as group insurance, deferred compensation, state retirement systems, unemployment, leaves of absence and worker's compensation
Coordinates annual benefit choice enrollment period
Answers a wide variety of inquiries from employees and dependants concerning the policies and coverage of group insurance
Apprises employees of new documents, polices, proposed or passed legislation as they pertain to the state benefits program
Serves as the agency's timekeeper. Audits employees' attendance records for compliance with established rules and collective bargaining agreements
Responsible for conducting onboarding and offboarding of employees
