I take care of a 2 year old girl who is soon to have a baby sibling! I am in charge of her general wellbeing as well as maintaining open communication with her parents and managing her routine.
I was a server in the Speakeasy and was in charge of explaining and suggesting drinks to customers in a place with a seasonally changing, complex menu ! We had a live jazz band every weekend so I am really good at staying focused in a fast-paced environment!

These are two restaurants owned by the same person and I worked at both of them interchangeably.
The bistro is a casual fine dining restaurant where the specials change daily and are not printed so I was expected to explain multiple dishes to every table. The kitchen is also downstairs here so I am very good at carrying trays and being quick and efficient.
Toro is a high-volume spanish fusion tapas restaurant. I had a 4-6 table section and was expected to be able to manage the tables courses and keep food on the table while constantly running food and drinks to help out other servers on the floor.
I worked alone in a wine shop that also had beer on tap, a house made old fashioned on tap, wine by the glass, and neat pours of bourbon.
Here I got to learn about wine and bourbon and was able to cultivate a lot of life long relationships with the regulars. My job was to make sure everyone found a something of something they liked and also made a friend.
I also was soley in charge of the cash register and my drawer, maintaining a clean shop, and expected to exercise integrity and do my job even without a manager checking on me.
Tonys is a very polished fine dining restaurant where was expected to have knowledge of the menu and be able to discuss how every dish was made at length.I was expected to also be able to discuss wine pairings and our large bourbon selection as well.
As a server I was in charge of leading the servers assisant assigned to me that day and controlling my section and timing of every single thing that hit the table.
