  • Communicated visual merchandising information and standards via in-store training and regular touch-bases with fellow managers.
  • Improved our teams' sales by coaching on merchandising techniques.
  • Monitored and replenished display inventory and restructured according to available stock.
  • Collaborated with store manager(s) to determine best placement for merchandise displays, and created visual displays to highlight new and featured products.
  • Like Foothills, I currently open & close Store 264 on a regular basis.

  • Monitored inventory levels and made necessary adjustments to maximize sales and profits. This one was probably the biggest, since Foothills adjusted what type of store it was many times over the years I was there. And dabbling in every position helped with any future situation we found ourselves in.
  • Maintained updated product knowledge to successfully educate and advise customers. Often times our setups there would appear confusing/strange due to the store's layout; I did my best to make sure it made the most sense to our consumers.
  • Developed and implemented successful strategies to increase sales and profits; there would be times we would deviate from floorsets or different guidelines to provide a more fluid/streamlined result, which ultimately helped the consumers and our ourselves as well.
  • Has managed a team of stylists as well as seasonals during holiday times; I'm a big fan of on-the-spot coaching and even giving scenarios to stylists should the situation demand or help them understand.
  • Was given the responsibility to open & close the store many times successfully over the years; still do at my current store. Helped with change orders, transfers, other financial duties as well should the aid be needed.
