Affiliations

Born and raised in Chicago, I have a lifelong passion for athletics, particularly in weightlifting. Inspired by my father, a 1952 Olympian in weightlifting, and the first strength and conditioning coach in the NFL with the Chicago Bears. That foundation has shaped every aspect of my life as a teacher, mentor, and a driver of people. I am a certified USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach, that takes great pride in helping young athletes see their potential, including my own son who competed in the sport of weightlifting at a national level.

I have lived in Howell, Michigan for 26 years, with my wife Lisa, our two children, Bryan and Lauren, and our best fur buddy, Hank. I am adept with most facet's of construction and often find myself throwing on the tool belt for a side project, helping my son with his construction business, or creating something custom for my wife and daughter. Outdoor activities such as hiking, four wheeling, and snow shoeing round out my time as well as a reading a book while floating on the pontoon boat.
