General Manager of a multi-shift JIT seat assembly and frame welding facility with over 300 personnel. Responsible for the day-to-day management of plant operations and facility.

• Financial: Develop and oversee the operating budget, including responsibility for the operation's economic performance and profit and loss.
• Leadership: Manage all departments within the production plant, with direct reports including the Production Manager, Quality Manager, Maintenance & Facilities Manager, Production Control Manager, and Information Technology, as well as indirect reports from Finance and Human Resources.

• Quality: Improved overall customer quality scorecard by reducing external defects and improving warranty performance

• Leadership: Provide leadership to the program management and engineering organization for Nissan US programs.
• Project Management: Create the program master schedule. Monitor project leads to ensure project deliverables are on time and budget.
• Budgeting: Manage spending to ensure that the project is within the designated budget.
• Engineering: Development of seat assembly processes, cycle time analysis, headcount allocation, machine and equipment requirements, and ergonomic requirements to meet a targeted Overall Equipment Efficiency.

• Support Sales in quote preparation, product development, team feasibility studies, and customer technical reviews
• Lead all program activities from quoting to the start of production
• Provide leadership to a cross-functional program team consisting of disciplines from Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Tooling, Quality, Logistics, Sales, and Purchasing

• Lead and coordinate new program launch for customer specific programs
• Manage APQP process for customer specific programs
• Lead and coordinate all prototype and pre-production activity

• Design and conception for machinery and tooling
• Created CAD drawings and models for design, sales presentation, machining, fabrication and assembly
• Prepare operational and reference manuals for new equipment
• Coordinate outsourcing for machining and fabrication
