Starting in 1985 I joined the tile trade, beginning as a helper, where i worked for 7-10 years under various experienced journeyman setters, in an effort to learn the trade the proper way and perfect the basics. In 2001 I received my contractors license for tile in California, and since have become and am currently osha certified. I have extensive experience in numerous different kinds of work environments as i have worked on custom houses, remodels, commercial projects and also contracting for myself. I have a wealth of knowledge concerning standards, techniques, methods and materials; I even stay current by participating in workshops regarding new practices for the trade. Reliable transportation and ability to pass background checks for jobsites would not be a problem.
